Ceirra Evans is a Kentucky (US) based painter depicting queer, Appalachian and rural narratives. Ceirra’s work has been reviewed by Hyperallergic, The New Yorker and other publications. In 2026, her painting “Fixin’ to Rain” was acquisitioned by The Ogden Museum of Southern Art (New Orleans, LA). Recent solo show highlights “A Wild Weed” at Perspective Gallery (Paris, France) and “Come Rain or Shine” at Institute 193 (Lexington, KY).  Her work is held in multiple private collections in the United States and UK. Ceirra has a degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies from Spalding University (Louisville, KY).
